Pros
Lenogo
Video to iPod Converter
worked well. The finished converted
product was excellent. It had a decent feature set that supports
conversion from DVD, AVI ASF, MPEG, MPEG2, Quicktime, and Real Media
Files to iPod format.
Cons
Users will have to navigate to the
VIDEO_TS directory on the DVD and select the correct *.VOB file. This
might not be intuitive to some users as there are many .VOB files. So
the question, "which one?" may arise. Usually, users should select any
one of the largest VTS files. Again, many users will not know this.
The online help system did not cover this.
Quality of Copy
Excellent
Customer/Technical Support
Good. The Lenogo website has a
tutorial on how to use the application but we found that it did not
fully cover .VOB file selection. Users should be told which file(s)
within the DVD should be selected if they want to convert the entire
movie. The site has a support ticket mechanism.
